MAN Industries Pipes Up: 50,000 Ton Boost in Pithampur!

MAN Industries (India) has inaugurated a new spiral mill for narrow-range pipes and an advanced polyurethane (PU) coating facility at its manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.

With an investment of approximately Rs. 100 crore, this expansion increases the company’s annual production capacity from 1,00,000 TPA to 1,50,000 TPA, adding an additional 50,000 TPA. The new facility broadens the company's pipe manufacturing range from the previous 28”-120” diameter to 12”-120”, addressing the growing demand in critical sectors such as oil & gas, water transmission, and infrastructure development.

The advanced PU and 3 Layer Polyethylene (3 LPE) coating facility—currently under development—aims to enhance pipe durability, corrosion resistance, and longevity.

The inauguration ceremony on March 9, 2025, was attended by Kailash Vijayvargiya, Cabinet Minister for Urban Development and Housing, Parliamentary Affairs, along with industry leaders, bankers, customers, and vendors.

“The new Spiral Mill and coating facility will significantly enhance our manufacturing capabilities and enable us to meet the global demand for high-quality pipes,” stated the company’s management. This strategic investment aligns with MAN Industries' commitment to sustainable and innovative manufacturing. Additionally, the company is advancing its plant developments in Saudi Arabia and Jammu, reinforcing its global expansion efforts. The new facility is expected to improve production efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and strengthen MAN Industries’ position as a leading infrastructure supplier in India and abroad.
