MANN+HUMMEL has inaugurated a new global technology and innovation centre in Tumakuru.
The facility is the company’s largest development centre outside Germany and is intended to strengthen global product development and collaboration with international customers. The centre brings together advanced research laboratories, testing infrastructure, digital engineering capabilities, and data analytics under one roof to accelerate the development and deployment of new technologies.
In line with MANN+HUMMEL’s sustainability-focused strategy, the Tumakuru hub will concentrate on developing energy-efficient filtration systems and reducing lifecycle emissions. The facility will also support circular economy initiatives through the use of recycled materials and environmentally responsible product design practices.
In addition to filtration technologies, the centre will undertake research focused on air quality improvement, water purification, industrial emission control, and expanding access to clean water. The initiative reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to environmental sustainability and industrial innovation.
