With an investment of over ₹180 crore in infrastructure, machinery, and equipment, the state-of-the-art facility will focus on producing advanced mechatronic system solutions for the Indian automotive industry.

Marquardt Group CEO Björn Twiehaus emphasized India’s importance as a key growth market, stating, “We work closely with leading vehicle manufacturers and leverage our Indian team’s expertise. The Talegaon plant marks a significant milestone, reinforcing our position as a leading supplier of mechatronic systems for the future of mobility.”

Equipped with advanced assembly lines, in-house electronics production, and robust logistics capabilities, the plant will manufacture drive authorization systems, gear selector switches, and battery management systems for electric vehicles (EVs). This investment is set to streamline the supply chain, enhance flexibility, and improve response times.
