Mega Auto Hub: SAMIL to Invest ₹3,491 Crore Near Noida Airport

In a major boost to regional industrial growth, YEIDA has issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) to Samvardhana Motherson International (SAMIL) for the development of an automotive components manufacturing plant spanning 150 acres across Sectors 6 and 7.

The project represents an investment of ₹3,491 crore and is expected to create around 20,000 jobs over five years. YEIDA CEO RK Singh stated that formal government allotment is expected imminently. The integrated site will bring together design support, precision tooling, manufacturing, and product testing to optimize production workflows and strengthen local auto supply chains, capitalizing on the enhanced connectivity brought by the operational Noida International Airport.
