The Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board (GPYVB) has issued a tender for the comprehensive development of the Shree Ambaji Mata Temple precinct, extending up to Gabbar Hill in Banaskantha district.
Planned in two phases, the project will include the expansion of both the Ambaji and Gabbar temple precincts, construction of a vehicular underpass, multi-level parking, a Yatri Niwas (pilgrim accommodation), and a pedestrianised corridor featuring public plazas, green spaces, and amenity buildings. The initiative aims to preserve the temple’s spiritual heritage while creating a world-class pilgrimage experience.
The total estimated cost is ₹804.99 crore, with a targeted completion timeline of 30 months. The last date for bid submission is June 30, 2025.
