Mohatadevi Sugar Mills & Agro Limited has announced an ethanol production facility in Mathori, Bid, Maharashtra, with a project cost of 68 Crores. The plant is set to produce 150,000 liters of ethanol per day, catering to the growing demand for biofuels in the region.
The project also includes a 3 MW captive power unit, which will utilize the by-products of ethanol production for power generation. This integration enhances the plant's energy efficiency and reduces waste, aligning with sustainable industrial practices.
This facility aims to bolster the local economy by creating new jobs and supporting ancillary industries. The ethanol produced will serve as a critical component for blending with petrol, reducing reliance on imported crude oil.
