Motherhood Hospitals: The $810 Crore Push for 8 New Locations

GIC and TPG-backed Motherhood Hospitals plans to expand its footprint by adding eight new hospitals across the 14 cities where it currently operates, through a combination of greenfield projects and acquisitions.

The company reported ₹810 crore in revenue for FY24-25, with an EBITDA margin of 18%, according to Vijayarathna Venkataraman, CEO of Motherhood Hospitals.

Operating a network of 25 hospitals and three clinics, Motherhood Hospitals is focusing on achieving scale efficiencies, standardising clinical processes, and developing specialised programmes in IVF and advanced paediatrics to enhance profitability.

The network has a presence across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala in the South; Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh in the West; Chandigarh and Delhi-NCR (Gurgaon, Noida) in the North; and recently expanded to Kolkata in the East.
