Mumbai's New GMLR Flyover Set for October 15 Opening

The final phase of construction is underway for a crucial 1.26-km flyover—a key component of Mumbai's Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) project. Stretching between Dindoshi Court and Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari, the 3x3-lane structure is slated for a public traffic launch on 15 October. Ahead of its opening, a structural load test will be conducted in October's second week, following a site review by Additional Municipal Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar. The project aims to drastically improve east-west connectivity and cut down commuter travel times.
