The National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) has sanctioned a ₹7,500 crore loan to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for the development of key infrastructure in Amaravati.
The funding will support infrastructure works across 29 villages under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS), including the construction of roads, drainage systems, water pipelines, and streetlights. Work is scheduled to commence on November 21, marking a major step toward accelerating the creation of basic urban amenities in the state’s capital region.
The loan was formally handed over during a ceremony attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana. The financial support from NaBFID is expected to catalyze Amaravati’s transformation into a world-class city equipped with modern, sustainable infrastructure.
