Narayana's Deadline: Vizag's Airport Roads in Six Months

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana reviewed key urban development projects with officials of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) and VMRDA, directing them to accelerate ongoing works.

The Minister stressed the need to complete seven Master Plan roads linking Visakhapatnam with the upcoming Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport (Bhogapuram) within six months to ensure seamless future traffic movement. He also instructed officials to fast-track infrastructure development across eight MIG housing projects to make the layouts ready for occupation. In addition, he announced plans to construct a 50-storey tower near the Law College and to develop a 120-acre theme-based city near Kothavalasa.

Officials noted that the new Visakhapatnam Master Plan is progressing as scheduled and will be completed within the planned timeframe to support the city’s long-term growth.
