The ₹7,084 Cr Highway Set to Unclog Delhi's Busiest Roads

The long-awaited NH-148A high-speed corridor—linking the Delhi-Noida-Direct (DND) Flyway to Sohna and the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar—is nearing completion and is expected to be ready within four months.

Once operational, the 91 km corridor will ease congestion on Delhi’s busiest highways and significantly improve access to key destinations including Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The final construction phase is in progress, with major components such as the DND Flyway ramp and the arch bridge over the Agra Canal approaching completion.

Built at an estimated cost of ₹7,084 crore, the project features six-lane access-controlled stretches, elevated corridors, flyovers, and multiple underpasses. Officials anticipate that NH-148A will greatly enhance connectivity across the National Capital Region (NCR) and streamline long-distance travel between major cities.
