Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved the creation of the AP Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (AP LinC), a government-owned entity aimed at integrating Andhra Pradesh’s ports, airports, roads, inland waterways, and cold-storage facilities into a unified logistics ecosystem.
Led by a Managing Director, AP LinC will focus on attracting large-scale investments, boosting operational efficiency, and reducing logistics costs across the state. During a review meeting at the Secretariat, Naidu emphasised that the corporation will act as a catalyst for developing world-class logistics infrastructure and supporting district-level initiatives. He reiterated his goal of positioning Andhra Pradesh as the gateway to India’s East Coast through improved standards, stronger connectivity, and expanded maritime capacity.
The Chief Minister also announced plans to establish a logistics university and a civil aviation university to strengthen talent development. Highlighting the state’s strategic advantage—six operational ports and four more under development—he noted that Andhra Pradesh already ranks second in sea-cargo movement, with neighbouring states relying heavily on its maritime facilities for future growth.
