NHAI: Bids On for Kolhapur's Elevated Flood Corridor.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the construction of a six-lane elevated corridor in the flood-affected zone of Kolhapur along the Kagal–Satara section of NH-48.

The project involves the development of a six-lane elevated corridor from km 612.582 to km 617.540, including a flyover towards Kolhapur City. The contract duration is three years for construction, followed by a 10-year maintenance period.

This work pertains to the flood-prone segment of Kolhapur, which was descoped from the original Kagal–Satara Package 1, and specifically includes the second-level ramp construction between km 0.000 and km 1.263.

The project will be implemented on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, with the bid submission deadline set for December 18, 2025.
