State-owned NLC India Ltd has been declared the preferred bidder for the Parvathapur Vanadium, Titanium and Aluminous Laterite Block in Telangana during the Ministry of Mines’ critical and strategic mineral block auction held on June 11.
Located in Sangareddy district, the mineral block contains resources that are considered strategically important for emerging industries and India's clean energy transition. The award represents a significant milestone in NLC India’s diversification strategy and strengthens its presence in the critical minerals segment.
The acquisition aligns with the company’s long-term growth plans and supports the development of domestic sources of critical minerals that are essential for advanced manufacturing, renewable energy technologies, and industrial development.
