NSE & TMC Launch ₹380 Cr. Cancer Care Block

The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), as part of its CSR initiative, has partnered with Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) to develop a state-of-the-art 11-storey multispecialty hospital block and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Centre at the ACTREC campus in Navi Mumbai.

The ₹380 crore project will span 2.4 lakh sq. ft. and be constructed by Larsen & Toubro, with completion targeted by July 2027. Designed to be one of India’s largest and South Asia’s biggest cancer care facilities, the centre will feature a 60-bed BMT unit, capable of performing over 600 bone marrow transplants annually. It is expected to serve approximately 1.3 lakh outpatients each year, offering affordable or free care to those in need.

In addition to the BMT unit, the facility will include a new out-patient department (OPD) for ACTREC. The project received environmental clearance in September and construction approval in October 2025.

NSE MD & CEO Ashishkumar Chauhan underscored the collaboration’s critical role in expanding access to advanced cancer care, stating that the initiative reflects NSE’s long-term commitment to public health and social impact.
