Optiemus Infracom has announced a strategic partnership with US-based Corning Inc. to locally manufacture premium tempered glass screen protectors for smartphones under the new brand ‘RhinoTech’.
With this collaboration, Noida-based Optiemus becomes the first Indian company to produce advanced-grade screen protectors incorporating Corning glass technology. The manufacturing will take place at the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Noida.
“We are committed to establishing India as a global hub for high-value mobile accessories,” said Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chairman of Optiemus Infracom. The company is targeting ₹2,000 crore in revenue from the tempered glass segment by March 2027.
Currently, a significant portion of tempered glass protectors sold in India are imported from China. RhinoTech’s domestic production aims to reduce dependency on imports while ensuring consistent quality, reliable supply, and wider availability across the country.
The brand will debut by catering to the premium smartphone segment, with plans to expand into economy categories in the coming months. RhinoTech products are expected to launch in India by end-September 2025.
