Peninsula Land Expands to Alibaug with 11-Acre Plotted Luxury

Peninsula Land, part of the Ashok Piramal Group, has announced a new plotted development in Alibaug under its Peninsula Estates brand.

The company has acquired an 11-acre land parcel in Sogaon, located about 20 minutes from Mandwa Jetty, where it plans to develop approximately 90–95 premium residential plots. The project is expected to benefit from enhanced regional connectivity driven by key infrastructure projects such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (Atal Setu), Ro-Ro ferry services, and upcoming developments including the Navi Mumbai International Airport, Revas–Karanja Bridge, and the Virar–Alibaug Multimodal Corridor. These improvements have significantly reduced travel time from Mumbai, driving increased interest in the Alibaug real estate market.

Peninsula Estates projects are positioned around the company’s “90-minute rule” concept, focusing on easy accessibility from Mumbai, along with clear legal titles and nature-integrated amenities. The development will feature a low-density layout supported by infrastructure such as internal roads, a clubhouse, and community spaces.

With previous plotted developments in Pune, Peninsula Land continues to expand its footprint in this segment, supported by growing demand for second homes and coastal investment properties.
