Petronet LNG is stepping into green energy! The company has officially approved a 50:50 joint venture with Gruner Renewable Energy to build compressed biogas (CBG) plants throughout India.
Approved on September 17, 2026, the venture will roll out 10 plants boasting a combined output of about 180 tonnes per day (18 tonnes per plant). This exciting project adds a sustainable, renewable pipeline to Petronet LNG’s core operations, reinforcing its commitment to India's clean energy transition.
