Infra-tech innovator Planck has partnered with Swiss Vault, a global leader in energy-efficient data storage, to develop a highly sustainable, low-power, and geographically distributed data infrastructure across India.
The collaboration will establish Quanta-range edge data centres that integrate Planck’s modular, net-zero infrastructure with Swiss Vault’s award-winning technology, delivering ultra-low energy consumption—under 300 watts per petabyte. The joint solution targets key sectors such as healthcare, media, education, government, and enterprise—particularly for organizations deploying AI on-premise while maintaining data sovereignty and privacy.
The initiative also aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and will support OTT platforms, citizen data management, and large-scale data warehousing.
By bringing enterprise-grade digital infrastructure to both urban and underserved rural areas, the partnership aims to decentralize data access and promote digital inclusion. Planck CEO Shishir Miglani noted that the alliance not only addresses India’s growing digital needs but also advances the vision of a more sustainable and inclusive future.
