Powering Forward Sustainably: Prism Advance's Bioethanol Unit Sprouts in Gujarat

Prism Advance Technology Enterprise Private Limited is set to embark on a pioneering journey in the renewable energy sector with its Ethanol Unit Project located in Morbi, Rajkot, Gujarat. With an investment of ₹98 Crores, the project is focused on producing ethanol with an impressive capacity of 60 Kilo Litres Per Day (KLPD), amounting to approximately 21.9 Million Litres Per Annum (MLPA). This initiative not only highlights the company's commitment to advancing energy solutions but also aligns with India's increasing emphasis on biofuels as a means to achieve energy self-reliance and reduce carbon footprints.

A notable aspect of this project is its sustainable approach to ethanol production, utilizing bagasse as the primary raw material. Bagasse, a by-product of sugarcane processing, represents an efficient and eco-friendly feedstock, turning waste from sugar mills into valuable ethanol. This method underscores Prism Advance Technology's dedication to sustainable practices and innovation in the renewable energy sector, setting a precedent for environmentally conscious industrial operations.

Moreover, the inclusion of a 2 MW bagasse-based power unit within the project scope signifies a holistic approach to resource utilization. By generating electricity from the same bagasse used for ethanol production, the facility aims to achieve operational self-sufficiency while possibly contributing surplus power to the local grid. This co-generation model enhances the project's sustainability credentials and demonstrates how industrial processes can be designed to minimize waste and maximize energy efficiency. The Prism Advance Technology Enterprise's Ethanol Unit Project, therefore, stands as a beacon of sustainable industrial innovation, contributing to the renewable energy landscape in India.
