Powering Hydro: RECPDCL Hands Over Luhri Transmission SPV

REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) successfully handed over the Luhri Power Transmission special purpose vehicle (SPV) to Terralight Solar Energy Tinwari on August 21, 2026. Selected through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process where RECPDCL acted as the bid coordinator, the successful bidder will develop the project on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis. The transmission system is designed to evacuate power from the Sunni Dam and Luhri Stage-I hydroelectric power projects, significantly bolstering regional energy infrastructure.
