Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured a significant project from South Eastern Railway, valued at ₹191.53 crore. The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) was issued by SER HQ ELECTRICAL, marking a key milestone for RVNL. This project involves the comprehensive "Design, Supply, Erection, Testing, & Commissioning" of essential railway infrastructure.
The scope of the order includes the construction of a 132 KV Traction Substation, along with Sectioning Posts (SPs) and Sub-Sectioning Posts (SSPs) within a 2x25KV system. This infrastructure will be strategically installed along the Rajkhaswan-Nayagarh-Bolani section of the Chakradharpur division, part of the South Eastern Railway network.
This initiative aims to meet an ambitious 3000 MT loading target, enhancing the efficiency and capacity of the rail transport system. The project's execution will be on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis, ensuring streamlined management and delivery.
The total investment of ₹191,53,74,279.51 (₹191.53 crore) includes all applicable taxes, underscoring the project's scale and importance in bolstering the regional rail infrastructure.
