Ramco Cements Expands Kalavatala Grinding Capacity to 2.4 MTPA

The Ramco Cements Ltd has announced an increase in its cement grinding capacity at the Kalavatala plant in Andhra Pradesh, raising it from 2 MTPA to 2.4 MTPA. This enhancement was achieved by de-bottlenecking the cement grinding process and optimizing the cement mill.

As a result of this upgrade, the company’s total cement grinding capacity has now reached 24.44 MTPA.

In a statement, the company mentioned that at its Kalavatala Plant, located in Kolimigundla Mandal, Nandyal District, Andhra Pradesh, the de-bottlenecking and optimization of the cement mill led to the capacity increase. Furthermore, the company has received the necessary consent to operate from the competent authorities for this capacity expansion.
