Ramky Infrastructure has secured significant contracts from PowerGrid Energy Services, a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). The awards are part of a results-linked distribution sector scheme (RDSS) focused on reducing power losses in Leh district.
The first contract, valued at Rs 107.39 crore, involves the supply of plant equipment. This project is expected to be completed within 30 months, marking a substantial undertaking in enhancing the region's power infrastructure.
The second contract, worth Rs 23.80 crore, covers the installation services for the project. Both contracts are under the implementation of distribution infrastructure works by the Ladakh Power Development Department (LPDD) in the Leh and Kargil districts.
These awards underscore Ramky Infrastructure's role in advancing the power distribution capabilities in the challenging terrains of Ladakh. The projects aim to significantly improve the reliability and efficiency of power supply in the region.
