KEC International, a global infrastructure company, has secured new orders totaling Rs 1,025 crore across its transmission & distribution (T&D) and cables businesses. In the T&D sector, the company clinched a significant 765 kV GIS substation project from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) and a comprehensive 225 kV composite project in West Africa. Expanding its footprint in America, KEC International also secured a contract for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles.
The company's cables business has also seen a boost with orders for various types of cables, both domestic and international. With these latest contracts, KEC International's year-to-date order intake has surpassed Rs 4,000 crore, marking a growth of over 70 percent compared to the previous year. This surge underscores KEC International's robust expansion strategy and its strengthening position in global infrastructure markets.
