The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved the allotment of 855 acres of land to Reliance Industries for the development of a giga-scale artificial intelligence data centre in Bhogapuram.
The allocated land spans the villages of Polipally, Bhogapuram East, and Bhogapuram West in Visakhapatnam district. The location has been identified as strategically advantageous due to its proximity to the upcoming cable landing station and the under-construction international airport, both of which are expected to support large-scale digital and data infrastructure operations.
Under the approved incentive package, Reliance Industries will receive a 25 percent concession on land value along with additional benefits available under the state’s industrial policy framework. State officials noted that the proposed project is expected to enhance Andhra Pradesh’s profile as a growing destination for digital infrastructure, cloud computing, and AI-led technology investments.
