Rithwik Projects Wins Mumbai Metro Depot Bid

Rithwik Projects has secured the top spot as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major land development project tied to Mumbai Metro Rail's Line-9. The contract, valued at Rs 733.24 crore, was awarded by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

The scope of work for Rithwik Projects includes comprehensive land development and the construction of key depot infrastructures. This will involve setting up a stabling yard, operation control centre, Depot Control Centre, administrative building, maintenance and inspection facilities, and an auxiliary substation.

Additionally, the project covers the installation of essential infrastructure such as roads, an underground utility duct, a drainage system, and rainwater harvesting. Architectural finishing and pre-engineered building (PEB) works will also be part of the depot's development at Dongri.

Rithwik Projects is expected to complete the entire development within 52 months, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of Mumbai’s metro network. The successful bid underscores Rithwik’s growing presence in the infrastructure sector, reflecting its capability to handle large-scale urban development projects.
