Rosetta Resorts & Holiday Homes, headquartered in Bengaluru, has announced a Rs 600 crore investment to enhance its presence in India’s leisure hospitality market. The company currently operates premium resorts in Sakleshpur and South Goa, with plans to both expand its existing footprint and launch new properties.
Rosetta made its debut in 2021 with a 126-key resort set amidst a lush coffee plantation in Sakleshpur. Building on this success, the company is developing 100 self-sustained three- and four-bedroom holiday homes within the same resort. These homes will be sold to buyers, who can choose to lease them back to Rosetta—effectively boosting room inventory without added capital costs.
In South Goa’s Varca region, Rosetta runs a 75-key resort that has been operational for a year. The company plans to expand the property by adding 68 one-bedroom suites, with a projected investment of Rs 100 crore. Once completed in two years, the resort will offer a total of 143 keys.
Rosetta is also developing a 130-key resort in the Ferns Forest View gated community in Kalyapura, Chikkaballapur. Spanning 10 acres, this project carries a budget of Rs 160 crore and is backed by a Rs 75 crore loan from Bajaj Housing Finance. It is scheduled for completion in 2.5 years.
To date, Rosetta has invested Rs 200 crore in Sakleshpur and Rs 100 crore in Goa. Over the next four years, it has earmarked an additional Rs 300 crore for expansion. Of the total Rs 600 crore investment, Rs 450 crore will come from internal accruals, with the remaining Rs 150 crore raised through debt.
