Roshni Renewable Lights Up Punjab with Giga Solar Factory

Roshni Renewable, a joint venture formed by industry experts from Valco and Solidus Techno Power, has announced the establishment of Punjab’s first giga-scale solar module manufacturing plant.

The state-of-the-art facility, with an initial production capacity of 1.8 GW, is designed to elevate Punjab’s industrial landscape while contributing to India’s renewable energy goals. The fully automated plant will operate in line with global manufacturing standards, creating substantial employment opportunities and promoting sustainable regional growth.

Developed in strategic collaboration with Jinchen, a leading supplier of solar module manufacturing lines in India, the project was officially launched during the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo.

Ajay Gupta, representing Roshni Renewable, highlighted the initiative’s importance in advancing India’s clean energy mission and strengthening Punjab’s industrial ecosystem through innovation, job creation, and high-quality solar manufacturing.
