The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a tender for the four-laning of the Marakkanam–Puducherry stretch of National Highway-332A, covering a distance from km 62+000 to km 108+047 in Tamil Nadu.
This project forms part of Package-III of the Mahabalipuram–Puducherry corridor and will be implemented under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), with a total project length of 46.047 km.
The scope of work includes the rehabilitation, upgradation, and widening of the existing road, construction of a new pavement, rehabilitation of the existing pavement, and the construction and/or improvement of major and minor bridges. The estimated project cost is ₹1,178.05 crore. Post-construction, the selected contractor will also be responsible for the highway's operation and maintenance.
The deadline for bid submission is 26 June 2025.
