The Uttar Pradesh government has approved an allocation of ₹1,246 crore for a greenfield expressway connecting Noida International Airport at Jewar to the Ganga Expressway.
Stretching approximately 76 km through Bulandshahr district, the expressway will enhance connectivity between key urban and industrial hubs, including Meerut, Bulandshahr, Khurja, and Syana, while significantly reducing travel time. An interchange is planned near Sector 21, adjacent to the upcoming Film City along the Yamuna Expressway. The corridor will also improve access to major national routes, including the Ganga Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
The project forms part of Uttar Pradesh’s broader infrastructure development strategy, which also encompasses the Ganga Expressway and Gorakhpur Link Expressway. A state official noted, “This expressway will strengthen regional connectivity and drive economic growth across the area.”
