The South East Central Railway has invited bids for the construction of one important bridge and four major bridges in Chhattisgarh under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
The project scope includes earthwork formation up to 300 meters on each approach, as part of the ongoing construction of the fourth railway line between the Durg–Rajnandgaon (31.0 km) and Sarona–Bhilai (17.30 km) sections. The estimated project cost is ₹126.65 crore, with a targeted completion period of 24 months.
This infrastructure development is expected to significantly reduce congestion, enhance freight movement efficiency, and improve passenger train operations along the corridor.
The deadline for bid submission is set for December 17, 2025.
