₹1,570 Crore Milestone: 75 Railway Stations Get a Modern Makeover

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 75 newly redeveloped railway stations across 20 states under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, representing an investment of approximately ₹1,570 crore. Launched in December 2022 to upgrade 1,340 stations nationwide, the long-term initiative focuses on blending modern infrastructure—such as air concourses, executive lounges, and accessibility features—with regional heritage and architecture. With this latest rollout, 261 stations have now been successfully redeveloped.
