₹500 Crore Green Leap: Hedge5 & Assam Power Up Renewable Energy

Hedge5 Manufacturing Solution has signed an MoU with the Government of Assam to develop renewable energy and compressed biogas (CBG) projects in the state, with a total investment of ₹500 crore.

The initiative is expected to create 100 direct jobs, with production slated to begin between December 2025 and January 2026. Signed on February 26, 2025, the agreement covers two major projects across multiple locations in Assam.

The first project involves a 5 MW renewable power plant integrating solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to ensure round-the-clock power generation. It is set to commence operations in December 2025.

The second project comprises five TPD CBG plants, with production scheduled to start in January 2026. The Assam government has committed to facilitating all necessary permissions, registrations, approvals, and clearances in line with existing policies and regulations.

The MoU will remain valid for 12 months unless extended.
