Welspun One, India’s leading industrial real estate platform, has acquired a 46-acre MIDC-notified parcel in Talegaon MIDC Phase IV, Pune.
The company will invest ₹550 crore to develop a 1.2 million sq. ft. Grade-A logistics park, marking its entry into a rapidly growing logistics micro-market in Maharashtra and strengthening its presence along the state’s warehousing corridor. Strategically located in the Talegaon–Chakan belt, the site offers strong connectivity to Pune, Mumbai, and Nashik, with proximity to the Pune Ring Road and the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, enabling seamless access for logistics and manufacturing operations.
The upcoming park will comprise four buildings ranging from 1,00,000 to 3,50,000 sq. ft., designed to meet the needs of high-growth sectors such as e-commerce, 3PL, and manufacturing. Featuring a 19-m clear height and ready-to-build infrastructure, the facility is tailored for advanced storage and high-efficiency operations.
Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Balkrishan Goenka, Chairman, Welspun Group, said, “Welspun One’s continued expansion across India’s key logistics corridors reflects our deep conviction in the country’s growth story and the rising demand for high-quality, compliant infrastructure. With this strategic entry into Pune, we are strengthening our presence in one of Maharashtra’s most dynamic industrial hubs and reinforcing our commitment to building nation-critical assets that enable India’s manufacturing and consumption ecosystem.”
