₹97 Cr Boost: Noida's Power Reliability Set for Major Upgrade

Noida’s power infrastructure is set for a significant upgrade with a ₹97 crore investment focused on boosting reliability and capacity. The project includes replacing old cables and poles, as well as strengthening transformers, and is targeted for completion by March 2026. Infrastructure surveys are already finished, and tenders for the work will be floated shortly.

In addition, Noida will benefit from a ₹1,313 crore modernisation programme under the national Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme, which will support system augmentation, SCADA integration, and the adoption of smart technologies.

Together, these investments aim to build a resilient, future-ready power grid capable of meeting the city’s growing residential and industrial demand, especially along the rapidly developing Noida Expressway.
