The Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpsar Department has invited tenders for the watershed development of the Sabarmati River banks from IIT Gandhinagar to Mota Chiloda Bridge in Gandhinagar under Phase 6/B (Part-2).
The project involves the development of a 5.11 km stretch along both the right and left banks of the Sabarmati River. The scope of work includes the construction of diaphragm walls, built-up walls, promenades, gabion structures, ghats, access ramps and outfall provisions. The riverfront development is designed to feature lower, middle and upper promenades, contributing to the long-term enhancement of the river’s infrastructure and public spaces.
The project is estimated to cost approximately ₹319.36 crore and is scheduled for completion within 18 months, including the monsoon period. The bid submission process is set to close on 27 January 2026.
