SAEL Industries Energizes Beed with New 50 MW Solar Power Plant

Solar RE Power, a subsidiary of SAEL Industries, has successfully commissioned a 50 MW ground-mounted solar power plant in Beed district, Maharashtra. The facility is expected to generate over 100 GWh of clean electricity annually, contributing significantly to India’s transition toward a sustainable energy future.

“This 50 MW (AC) project is equipped with TOPCon bifacial modules, offering high energy yield and performance reliability,” the company stated. The advanced bifacial technology enhances efficiency by capturing sunlight from both the front and rear sides of the panels.

The project is backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL), ensuring long-term revenue certainty and tariff stability, consistent with industry standards.

SAEL Industries is active across multiple renewable energy verticals, including agri waste-to-energy, utility-scale solar power, and solar module manufacturing. The company currently manages a rapidly expanding portfolio of over 6.7 GW in solar independent power producer (IPP) assets across India.
