Sai Ram Blooming Brighter with Technical Pesticides in Punjab

Sai Ram Agritech Private Limited, a leading Punjabi pesticide producer, is investing Rs. 15 crore in a technological pesticide factory in Village Rampura, Bathinda. The project seeks to increase production of insecticides (1140 MTPA), fungicides (300 MTPA), herbicides (1200 MTPA), and intermediates-products (360 MTPA), boosting agricultural advantages.

This expansion provides vital crop protection options to Punjab's farmers and maybe others, boosting agricultural productivity and food security. The project is expected to create many construction and operational jobs in the area and improve local production by lowering technical pesticide imports.

Advanced and eco-friendly technologies are expected at the projected technical pesticide facility in Village Rampura, Tehsil Rampura Phul, Bathinda. The project must strictly follow environmental standards and employ strong pollution control measures to maintain sustainability.

Though promising, the project may confront hurdles such as approvals and permissions, environmental compliance, safe and efficient production management, and adaptation to changing agricultural market needs. As on December 2023, Project is at approvals received stage. Project got all the clearances. Project work will be start by December, 2023.
