Sanofi Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. (SHIPL) is set to invest €400 million in expanding its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, with €100 million planned by 2025. This expansion aims to make Hyderabad the largest of Sanofi’s four global hubs, employing up to 2,600 people within two years.
The Hyderabad hub, established in 2019, has rapidly evolved from a medical hub to providing a wide range of services to Sanofi’s global operations. This investment highlights Sanofi's commitment to leveraging Hyderabad’s growing talent pool and digitalization capabilities.
Madeleine Roach, Executive Vice President of Business Operations at Sanofi, praised Hyderabad as a preferred destination for shared services, emphasizing the city’s potential in fostering a global community focused on excellence and digital transformation.
D Sridhar Babu, Telangana's Minister for IT and Industries, lauded the investment, noting that it underscores Telangana’s dedication to creating a thriving environment for innovation and job creation. Over 2,600 jobs will be generated through this substantial investment.
Emmanuel Frenehard, Sanofi’s Chief Digital Officer, highlighted the company's ambition to harness AI at scale, intending to recruit talent at the Hyderabad hub to integrate AI across Sanofi's value chain, enhancing their global operations.
