North Central Railway Invites Bids for UP Infrastructure Upgrade

North Central Railway has opened the bidding process for a significant infrastructure project in Uttar Pradesh. The project focuses on the construction of major bridges and road under bridges (RUBs) in the Bhandai Flyover Etawah Bound Down Train area.

This comprehensive project involves construction, earthwork formation, blanketing, and the development of major bridges and RUBs, along with various other ancillary works. The targeted section spans 10 kilometers and is slated for completion within 18 months, accommodating harvest and monsoon periods.

The estimated value of the contract stands at Rs 117.4 crore, reflecting the extensive nature of the work required. The project aims to enhance connectivity and streamline transportation in the region.

Interested parties must submit their bids by August 14, 2024. This deadline provides potential contractors ample time to prepare and present their proposals for this substantial undertaking.

The initiative marks a crucial step in North Central Railway's efforts to improve infrastructure, promising significant benefits for both local and regional transit systems.
