SECL Mining Alert: Bids Open for Durgapur OCM Operations

South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has invited bids for a range of mining services encompassing handling, transportation, and allied operations.

The scope of work includes the deployment of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) for excavating dumped overburden (OB), loading into tippers, transportation, unloading, dumping, dozing, and maintenance of haul roads. It also covers overburden removal, coal extraction, and composite mining operations involving cutting, loading, transportation, and wagon loading of coal at the Durgapur Open Cast Mine (OCM).

This tender forms part of SECL’s continued efforts to sustain and enhance coal production while strengthening its operational efficiency and mining capabilities.

The bid submission deadline is 30 January 2026.
