Shining Bright: APCPDCL Hits 180 MW Solar Capacity

The Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation (APCPDCL) has achieved a significant breakthrough in renewable energy, completing 50,114 rooftop solar connections with a total installed capacity of 180 MW, all fully synchronized with the state power grid.

Highlighting this remarkable growth, CMD P. Pullareddy noted that rooftop solar installations surged from just 6,489 connections up to April 2025 to adding an impressive 43,625 new connections over the past year. He attributed this massive leap to the hard work of APCPDCL staff, proactive consumer awareness campaigns, and hands-on guidance provided to applicants throughout the entire process. Moving forward, APCPDCL remains committed to driving renewable energy adoption and supporting the nation's clean energy targets under the flagship central scheme.
