Shree Cement has successfully inaugurated a state-of-the-art kiln at its newly established integrated production facility in Nawalgarh, Rajasthan, boasting an impressive rated capacity of 11,500 tons per day (tpd). This cutting-edge kiln, positioned as one of the world's highest capacity units, is equipped with advanced technology that enables the utilization of alternative fuels, ensuring optimal energy efficiency.
With a substantial investment of Rs 3,500 crore, the new cement plant achieves an annual production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes. Notably, the facility incorporates a 33 MW waste heat recovery-based power plant, a key contributor to electricity generation without reliance on fossil fuels. This innovative approach harnesses waste gases from the clinkerisation process, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Strategically located, the Nawalgarh plant is poised to cater to the demands of high-consumption cement markets in the National Capital Region (NCR), Punjab, and Haryana.
As part of an integrated network spanning Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka, the Nawalgarh plant represents the fifth facility for Shree Cement. This milestone underscores the company's dedication to technological excellence and sustainable practices across its operations.
With a visionary outlook, Shree Cement is ambitiously working towards achieving a production capacity of 80 million tonnes by the year 2028, solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.
