The project, estimated to cost 80 crores
The distillery unit will have a capacity of 35 KLPD (kilolitres per day) and will produce ethanol, carbon dioxide, and other byproducts. The ethanol produced by the unit will be used for various purposes, including fuel blending, industrial use, and export. The carbon dioxide produced by the unit will be used in the food and beverage industry.
The distillery should produce considerable income for SDVSSKL. The sale of ethanol, carbon dioxide, and other byproducts should cover production costs and provide a profit. SDVSSKL values sustainability. Distillery design will reduce environmental effect. The facility will recycle and reuse garbage and employ energy-efficient technology.
As on December 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
