Siemens Powers Up Bengaluru Metro with Rs 766 Crore Electrification Deal

Siemens has been awarded a substantial Rs 766 crore contract for the electrification of the Bengaluru Namma Metro. This project will cover 175 kilometers of metro lines, enhancing the metro network's efficiency and reliability. The contract includes the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the electrification components, showcasing Siemens' technical prowess in urban mobility solutions.

The Namma Metro project aims to boost public transportation in Bengaluru, reducing traffic congestion and pollution. Siemens' advanced electrification technology promises improved performance and energy efficiency for the metro system.
