Solar Giant Vikram Solar Hits 4.5 GW Milestone with Expansion and Tech Upgrades

Vikram Solar has expanded its solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing capacity by 1 GW at its facility in Falta, West Bengal. In addition, the company has upgraded its Oragadam facility in Chennai to produce advanced technology modules, such as TOPCON and HJT. These enhancements bring Vikram Solar’s total annual production capacity to 4.5 GW, solidifying its leadership in the renewable energy industry. The Falta Project, launched in December 2024, has successfully reached its expansion goals, while the improvements at the Chennai facility enhance the company’s technological capabilities.
