South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited Plans Solar Power Plant in Bihar

The South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL) is a state-owned power distribution company in India. It is responsible for distributing electricity to consumers in the southern part of Bihar. The SBPDCL is committed to promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and it has been working to develop solar power projects in the state.

The SBPDCL's Solar Power Plant Project at Patna is a 100 MW project that will be located on a 100-acre plot of land in the Patna district. The project is expected to generate enough electricity to power 25,000 homes. The project is also expected to create jobs and boost the local economy.

The SBPDCL is currently in the process of selecting a contractor for the project. The project is expected to be completed by 2024.
