SRF Limited, a major Indian chemical company, is building a cutting-edge Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Films Project in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. With an anticipated Rs. 275 crore investment, this ambitious project would transform regional industry and SRF's BOPP film manufacturing capabilities. The Indore, Madhya Pradesh, project would manufacture BOPP films at 4,500 MTPA.
BOPP films, noted for their clarity, robustness, and adaptability, are used in food packaging, medicines, industrial applications, tobacco, and stationery. SRF's strategic investment in this cutting-edge plant could boost BOPP film manufacturing, meeting rising local demand and maybe expanding internationally.
This key project will boost SRF's output and Indore's industrial growth. This investment is expected to make Indore a major industrial center in Madhya Pradesh, boosting business and technology.
As on December, 2023. The project has begun the stage of receiving approvals. Clearances were obtained for the project. Work on the project is scheduled to begin in January of 2024.
