Surat Municipal Corporation invites tenders for the comprehensive execution of flood protection measures along the Tapi river on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.
The chosen contractor will assume responsibility for the project's design, engineering, and construction, covering an approximate length of 5700 meters. The protection works are to be implemented on both sides of the river in accordance with site specifications. Additionally, the scope of work encompasses conducting an environmental impact assessment, obtaining necessary clearances from CRZ (Coastal Regulation Zone) authorities, Forest authorities, and complying with statutory requirements, including proof checking.
The project is slated for completion within 24 months from the letter of acceptance of the bid, excluding the monsoon period. Maintenance activities will be undertaken during the one-year Defect Liability Period (DLP). The estimated contract value for this undertaking is Rs 440.77 crore.
Interested parties are invited to submit their bids by the deadline of 14 February 2024.
